Rules for the Queen of Hearts
- One envelope will be chosen per week. The game ends when the Queen of Hearts is drawn.
- The game starts with 54 cards (Including the Jokers) placed in envelopes numbered 1 to 54.
- JOKER RESET: The game ends if the second Joker is revealed before the Queen is found. A new game will begin the following week with a new game board. The jackpot will carry over to the new game. There will only be one reset per game. Drawings will take place on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase until 6:55 p.m. Next week's game tickets will be available immediately after Monday night’s drawing.
- Players need not be present to play. Payouts decrease if not present; see payout amounts below.
- There can be only one name per ticket. Please write your full name as it appears on your driver’s license or social security card, as well as your telephone number, AND the number of the available envelope you’re requesting. Do not use nicknames, initials, group names, or abbreviations, which could cause complications when collecting winnings.
- If the ticket is not filled out completely and correctly, or the handwriting is not legible, the ticket will be invalid and discarded. Name/address labels are not allowed. The winner must present their raffle ticket to claim the prize.
- If a person does not put a number on their ticket, the ticket will be thrown out, and there will be an automatic redraw.
- If a ticket is pulled and its number has already been taken, it will be thrown out, and there will be an automatic redraw.
- Three (3) tickets will be drawn; 1st draw is for the Queen of Hearts, 2nd and 3rd will win a prize of no less than a $20.00 value, only if the Queen of Hearts is not drawn.
- The person with the winning ticket, if present, will pick an envelope on the board.
- All tickets will be discarded after each night’s drawing.
- Any rule or payout changes may only be made between games before the first Monday night drawing starts.
- All winners of $600.00 or more will receive a W-2G. Must be 21 to play.
- The card selected during the weekly drawing will be displayed on the Queen of Hearts board after being drawn.
- Winners of the grand prize will be paid by check within 14 days of the prize being claimed. If the winner is not present, they will be notified within 48 hours.
- 10% of the nightly ticket sales will be set aside to seed the next full game and will not be included in the current game's pot.
- If the Queen of Hearts is not drawn, the winner of the first drawing will be paid according to the table below, and the pot will continue to the next week’s drawing.
